I'm Adam Kidd. I make corporate videos, commercials, documentaries, and other things involving cameras and people.

I've been working in film and television for over 25 years, starting young as an editor and eventually finding my way into just about every other part of production.

These days I write, shoot, edit, and work with some very good people when the job calls for it.

I've worked on national advertising campaigns, corporate communications, television series, feature documentaries, and plenty of smaller projects that have been just as rewarding.

I like good ideas, interesting people, and work that's worth doing.

Projection - It's not always easy to imagine what a project could become. I can see the possibilities early, make creative decisions with confidence, and carry that vision through to the finished work.

Work it out

Most projects begin with an idea, a problem to solve, or a bit of both. The interesting part is figuring out what to do next. Sometimes that means working through a script, sometimes finding a practical way to shoot something difficult, and sometimes discovering what really matters once the footage is in the edit.

I like getting involved early, asking questions, testing ideas, and working through the details. There's always a balance between planning carefully and being ready to change course when something better presents itself.

Good work doesn't always need a bigger production. Sometimes it just needs a clearer idea.

Music and the arts have always been a big part of my life. I play guitar, write songs, and spend a fair amount of time working with other musicians, performers, and artists.

For ten years, I sponsored the Edmonton Music Awards, producing their award category videos and commercials. I also supported the Edmonton International Film Festival for over a decade, packaging short film programs and producing the festival's video advertising.

Through Limbo, I've worked on concerts, theatre productions, music videos, and performances of all kinds. I enjoy the collaboration, the creative challenges, and finding ways to bring what's happening on stage to the screen.

Supporting the arts is something I believe in, and something I make time for.
